Kevin Paul Gregerson
Feb. 3, 1986-Feb. 16, 2009
BOARDMAN - Kevin Paul "Bubba" Gregerson, 23, of Hermiston died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, in a welding accident in Boardman. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 in the First Christian Church in Milton-Freewater. Concluding services and interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery in Walla Walla.
Mr. Gregerson was born Feb. 3, 1986, in Hermiston to Kevin Lee Gregerson and Twila Janine Humbert. He grew up and attended schools in Milton-Freewater, where he played football from Pee Wee through high school.
He had a passion for cars, and spent his free time working on them or racing with his father and uncle John at Umatilla Speedway, where he became points champion in 2006. When he wasn't racing he was riding motorcycles or spending time with his family, especially his nephews.
Mr. Gregerson is survived by the love of his life, Amber Sams of Hermiston; father Kevin Gregerson of Hermiston; mother Twila Humbert of Milton-Freewater; sisters Misty Humbert of La Grande, Kristy Gregerson and Shelley Sen, both of Milton-Freewater, and Jennifer Perez and Chevelle Gregerson, both of Hermiston; brother Justin Humbert of Milton-Freewater; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jens Gregerson; grandmother Carol Clark; and great-grandmother Dorothy Humbert.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Pioneers Football Team through the Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S. Main St., Milton-Freewater, OR 97862.
