Neddo, Milton LeRoy

HERMISTON Milton LeRoy Neddo died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Rose Arbor Assisted Living Facility in Hermiston at the age of 90.
Milton was born on May 13, 1910, in Providence, Utah, to Isaac James and Alice (Osterhout) Neddo. He had been a resident of Hermiston for the past five and a half years, formerly being a longtime resident of Malta, Idaho. On Aug. 31, 1933, he married Gladys Leona Smith in Malta. He worked in construction, building roads for 10 years in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Las Vegas and Yellowstone Park. Milton then returned to Malta where he operated a dairy farm for over 40 years.
He was a member of the Mormon Church. He liked to hunt and fish and loved to watch sports, especially those which involved his children. Milton enjoyed being with his family and his brothers and sisters families.
He is survived by sons, Hal LeRoy Neddo of Phoenix, Ariz., Daniel K. Neddo of Coulee Dam, Wash., and Nicholas J. Neddo of Hermiston; brother, Charles Alvin Neddo of Malta, Idaho; sisters, Naomi Paskett of Malta, Idaho, and Hope John of Blackfoot, Idaho; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; parents, Isaac and Alice Neddo; son, Keith Neddo; granddaughter, Jennifer Neddo; brothers, Melvin and Isaac James Neddo; and sisters, Stella and Melba.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Malta, Idaho. Burial followed at the Valley Vu Cemetery in Malta. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston was in care of the arrangements in Oregon and Payne Mortuary of Burley, Idaho, was in charge of the arrangements in Idaho.
