DALLAS Emma I. Lowe, 90, of Dallas died April 15, 2001, at Dallas Retirement Village.

Emma was born April 27, 1910, in Ruleton, Kan., to Joshua and Lydia Edmison. She worked as a cook at Oregon State University and also cooked at OMSI and Yellowstone summer camps. Later in life, she managed an apartment complex in Prineville.

She was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Prineville. She enjoyed collecting art work, rocks and enjoyed to paint.

She is survived by sons, Ronald Lowe of Loveland, Colo., G. Samuel Lowe of Greenville, Texas, Tom Lowe of Stanfield, Francis Lowe of Hermiston and Dan Lowe of Monmouth; brother, Tom Edmison of Corvallis; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lowe, in 1970; and four brothers and sisters.

A graveside service was held Thursday, April 19, at Union Cemetery in Crawfordsville.
