Florence Louise Kudika

HERMISTON Florence Louise Kudika died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston at the age of 78.

She was born on May 15, 1923, in North Adams, Mass., to David and Midirise Rennette Scott. She was raised and attended school in Massachusetts. She moved to Riverside, Calif., in 1967.

Florence was married to John P. Kudika on March 3, 1969, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She moved to Utah in 1994 and then to Hermiston in 2000 where she had lived since.

Florence enjoyed crafts, shopping, and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Lane and Theresa Gruba, both of Hermiston; sister, Pauline Bombarder of California; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Frederick Schnopps; and several sisters and brothers.

A private burial will be held in the National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif. Those who wish may make contributions in Florences memory to the Childrens Miracle Network or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
