STANFIELD Shirley Earlene Dunham died July 14, at her home in Stanfield at the age of 56.
Shirley was born Oct. 5, 1945, to Earl and Gail (Davis) Dueckin Hutchinson, Kan., where she was also raised and attended schools. She left in 1985 and settled in Stanfield in 1987.

She married Charles Lee Dunham on March 21, 1992, at the Stanfield Baptist Church. She was a very active member and deaconess at the Stanfield Baptist Church.
She attended Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, earning a certificate in photography.
Shirley enjoyed gardening, traveling, exploring, rock climbing, cooking and photography. She especially loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Dunham of Stanfield; sons, Ronald Shannon of Cleveland, Ohio, Jeffery Shannon of Puyallup, Wash., Matthew Shannon of Toledo, Ohio, and Patrick Dunham of Ft. Hood, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Nicole Dunham and Sarah Nicole Dunham, both of Stanfield; brothers, Richard Dueck of Colorado, Dennis Dueck of Bartlesville, Okla., and Walter Dueck of El Paso, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gail Dueck; sister, Mary Mooney; and son, Eric Shannon.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 19, at the Stanfield Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Stanfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stanfield Baptist Church. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston was in charge of the arrangements.
