William E. “Bill” Harriman
March 15, 1923-Aug. 10, 2002
William E. “Bill” Harriman died Aug. 10, 2002, after a long illness of CLL and lymphoma at the age of 79.
He was born March 15, 1923, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He serviced his country during World War II in the South Pacific area. After attending college, he worked in the insurance field.
Until earlier this year, he had lived in Boardman for 13 years, moving to Renton, Wash., just three months ago.
He dearly loved to hunt and golf, and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three children, Lyndon Harriman, Kevin Harriman and Kimberly Alhadeff; and two granddaughters, Rachael Alhadeff and Gabrielle Harriman.
The family requests that any contributions be made to a children’s cancer society in his memory.
Marlatt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
