Barbara “Jean” McKee

YUMA, Ariz. Barbara “Jeanne” McKee, 63, formerly of Umatilla, died Feb. 15, at a hospital in Yuma, Ariz.

She was born Aug. 28, 1939, in Nampa, Idaho, to Virgil and Margaret Daniel. She had been a long-time resident of Umatilla. She retired after many years of service with Lamb Weston in Hermiston.

Jeanne and her husband, Jerry, retired to Welton, Ariz., in 1995. They were very happy there and found many new friends who were “snowbird families” from many places throughout the U.S. and Canada.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry McKee of Welton, Ariz.; mother, Margaret Russell of Nampa, Idaho; sisters, Wanda Hoppins of Nampa, Idaho, and Ruth Widmark of Welton, Ariz.; three sons, Dennis Lundquist of Hermiston, Edwin Lundquist of Boise, Idaho, and Thomas Lundquist of Hermiston; daughter-in-law, Christine Lundquist of Hermiston; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

There will be no memorial service.
