The family of Chianne L. Griffin-Gaede has scheduled her memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday at the New Hope Community Church in Hermiston.

Viewing is planned from noon until 6 p.m. today at the Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.

Griffin-Gaede, 15, of Stanfield, died July 1 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident June 30 near Dayton, Wash.

The teenager died at 1:50 a.m. July 1 while in surgery at Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle, said a hospital nursing supervisor.
