Dec. 30, 1927-July 23, 2008

Helen Alice Bennick, 80, a Hermiston resident for the past 30 years, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at the Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Wash.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Hermiston Assembly of God Church, 730 E. Hurlburt Ave. Disposition was by cremation.

Mrs. Bennick was born Dec. 30, 1927, at Promise to William and Mary Allen Swearingen. She was a member of the Hermiston Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, Lloyd Rambo of Maupin; daughters, Christine Rambo of Yakima, Wash., Alice Bennett of Los Molinos, Calif., and Lois Hohenwald of Irrigon; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Rambo; and her second husband, Donald Bennick.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston was in charge of arrangements.
