A. Rick Stewart, 51, of Hermiston died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, in Pendleton. 

Mr. Stewart was born May 23, 1959, in Hermiston to Jack Sr. and Shirley Stewart. He was raised in Hermiston, Arizona, and Omak, Wash. He later returned to Hermiston, where he has lived since. He worked in the grocery business and in construction.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Stewart of Hermiston; brother Jack Stewart of Hermiston; sister Debbie Myers of Hermiston; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jewellea Stewart; father Jack Stewart Sr.; and sister Karen Murphy.

A private family gathering will be held.
