Teresa Marie Martinez and Marcus Preston Hopkins, both of Hermiston, are announcing their engagement. Teresa is the daughter of Gary and Donna Bailey of Toppenish, Wash. Marcus is the son of Jack and Joann Eyrish of Gig Harbor, Wash.

Teresa is studying for a bachelors degree in business. Marcus works for Home Depot in Hermiston.

The couple will exchange vows May 28, 2011, in Hermiston.
