There will be an open house Wednesday, May 11, from 5-8 p.m. at the Port of Morrow designed to inform the public on a feasibility study Gas Transmission Northwest is conducting for a proposed natural gas pipeline.

The proposed Carty Lateral pipeline would run roughly 25 miles from the existing mainline near Ione to connect to the Carty Generating Station, a project proposed by Portland General Electric. The Port of Morrow is at 2?Marine Drive in Boardman.
