<p>Jessica Gorbhan and Chad Blackburn</p>

Alan and Stephanie Blackburn of Hermiston announced the engagement of their son, Chad, to Jessica Gorbhan, daughter of Mark and Brendalee Gorbhan of Paso Robles, Calif.

Chad, a 2006 graduate of Stanfield High School, served a two-year mission in Portugal. Both are currently attending Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho.

An Aug. 4, 2011 wedding is planned in Oakland Temple. Receptions are Aug. 6 in Paso Robles and Aug. 20 in Hermiston.
