Student registration for the Hermiston School Districts 2011-12 school year begins Aug. 3.

New this year, all elementary students will register at West Park Elementary. The centralized registration will allow for onsite assistance, including translation services, information about transportation and help with free and reduced lunch applications.

Elementary registration will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.

Middle school registration will be held at the individual buildings on staggered days. Registration for Sandstone Middle School is from 1-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, and from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Armand Larive Middle School will host its registration on Wednesday, August 17, from 8  a.m.-2 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 18, from 1-7 p.m. 

Hermiston High School students will register by grade during the week of Aug. 15-19. Incoming freshman may register Monday, Aug. 15, and seniors are invited to register Tuesday, Aug. 16. Students entering their junior year can register Wednesday, Aug. 17, and incoming sophomores will register Thursday, Aug. 18. Families will be able to register students anytime from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.-7  p.m. on these days, and for those unable to make the assigned day, an open registration for all students will run from 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.

When registering a middle or high school-level student, fees may be paid onsite. Online fee payments, for current and past fees, are accepted through InTouch at www.hermiston.k12.or.us/onlinepayments. 

Parents or guardians registering students new to the district will need the students birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport; proof of residence; health records; and report card or transcript grades to complete the process.
