Tuesday afternoon, Cris Osborne had a few words with her barrel-racing horse, Diamond, about posing and looking good for the camera. Diamond obliged.

Shes a diva, Osborne said with a laugh. I have four horses, all mares, and they all think theyre all that.

Those four all-stars are the inspiration for Osbornes business, 4 Divas Feed and Supply, which opened in February.

The store at 250 Arbor Vitae Lane is a yellow building on Highway 395 next to the Stanfield School District campus. The building is shared with Rod Osbornes business, Osborne Performance Repair, a 10-year veteran in repairing snowmobiles, ATVs and pickups.

Both Osbornes work full time, and when Cris Osborne was injured a few months ago, she decided to take on more time with her business, expanding its hours and offerings.

Theres really no feed stores on this side of the county, and Ive wanted to do this since I was 16, Cris Osborne said. I grew up with horses, and Ive always had something to do with them. My uncle started it he put me on a cutting horse when I was 2 years old.

Horses remain the focus of 4 Divas the Osbornes sell tack, feed, bedding and medications, but the store inventory also includes dog and cat food, accessories and homemade jewelry.

What I dont have, I will find for people, Osborne said.

4 Divas Feed and Supply is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday-Friday.
