JANUARY 13

A man caused a disturbance and refused to leave the building at Agape House.

A Hermiston woman reported she was scammed by a company in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

A man reported being hit in the face while in the bathroom at Wal-Mart. He did not know who the other person was.

A man tried to enter Nicks Tavern, in Umatilla, with a baseball bat.

A fight involving six Hispanic males was reported in the pet supply area at Wal-Mart.

A television was stolen from a residence on Southwest 11th Street.

A Hermiston woman reported two-three rounds of gun fire in the area of 10th Street and Joseph Avenue.

An employee at Hales Tavern reported hearing gunshots.

JANUARY 14

Multiple callers reported the roof at the Hermiston Burger King, 1730 N. First St., was on fire.

A Hermiston man called to report his wife said he was harassing her and would not let him to her work after an argument over her having an affair and him finding out about it. I have a right to know and find out, the caller said.

A Hermiston resident reported phone calls and text messages from a number they didnt recognize asking about having drugs to sell.

Three units at Schnell Mini Storage were broken into or tampered with.

A motor vehicle accident was reported in from of Columbia Harvest Foods in Umatilla. Reporters said the driver of one vehicle ran a stop sign and attempted to walk away.

Residents of Southwest Ninth Street reported being robbed at gunpoint in their apartment.

JANUARY 15

A suspicious car was reported possibly casing homes on Division Avenue. 

A German shepherd was spotted running down the median of Interstate 84.

Safeway employees reported a 6-foot-tall, 280-lb manwith a shaved head who wanted to fight stole $200 worth of groceries and took off down Fourth Street in a dark-colored Lincoln Town Car.

A person was reported entering cars in a church parking lot.

Graffiti was reported on Northeast Seventh Street and on Sunset Drive.

A mailbox was destroyed on Ridgeway Avenue.

Someone stole $42 worth of merchandise from Safeway.

A pickup was reported stolen from Agnew Road.

A resident of Southwest 11th Street reported coming home to find her home had been broken into.

Someone attempted to break into an apartment on Southwest 11th Street.

Dallin Richard Puzey, 19, 970 S.E. Fifth St., Hermiston: Disorderly conduct II

Phillip Andrew Williams, 47, 77551 S. Edwards Road, Stanfield: Possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.
