HERITAGE DAYS ENCAMPMENT, beginning at 9 a.m., Emigrant Springs Heritage Area, 65068 Old Oregon Trail Highway, Meacham. The Oregon Trail Travelers will reenact the lifestyle, trades and crafts of the Oregon Trail in 1848. Demonstrations, a mercantile, displays of animal pelts and skeletons, gold panning and more. The Blue Mountain Fiddlers will perform in the parks community building at 6 p.m. Free and open to everyone. (541-379-1518).

PENDLETON FARMERS MARKET, 4 p.m. to dusk, 300 block South Main St., Pendleton. Featured produce in the Market Kitchen is zucchini, with sampling and recipes. Market Kids, live music by Peterson Entertaiment, lots of booths and plenty of fresh produce. (541-969-9466).

BOMBER CRASH SITE HIKE, 8 a.m., meet at Heritage Station Museum, 108 S.W. Frazer Ave., for carpools, Pendleton. The Pendleton Air Museum will hike to the 1943 B-17 bomber crash site on Tollgate Mountain. The moderate hike is around two miles.
