After failing in their efforts to recall the mayor and four city council members, recall proponents Doug Primmer, John Kirwan and Mark Evans now run for the Hermiston City Council. Hermiston voters should reject them like they rejected the vengeful recall effort.

Mr. Primmer was one of the major leaders of the recall effort.

I watched him stand in front of one open recall meeting and say, Were going to show the city who is boss.

He also signed and circulated recall petitions. Mr Kirwan was the fourth signature on all the recall petitions. Mr. Eaves not only signed the recall petitions, but circulated them for signatures.

To my knowledge, none of these candidates has ever contributed to public service in our community in any substantial or sustained way. Now they want to lead the city.
