Rain couldn’t dampen spirits for the grand opening of the 14th annual

Festival of Lights on Friday. The evening included the first night of the festival

at the Umatilla County Fairgrounds as well as the annual Lighted Parade.

The Festival of Lights will run every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

night until Dec. 23. The festival runs from 5-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday

nights and from 5-8 p.m. on Sundays.

Thursday nights will serve as drive through nights, when vehicles will

be permitted on the track through the displays from 5-9 p.m. The bazaar

will not open on Thursday nights.
