Patricia Lea Grauer

Patricia Lea Grauer was born February 19, 1934, at Le Mars, Iowa, to parents Louis Edward and Ruth Frances (Leesly) Rembe. She died Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Life Care Center Of Richland in Richland, Washington, at the age of 79.

She was raised in Sioux City, Iowa, and graduated from East High School in Sioux City. On June 14, 1954, she married Donald Louis Grauer in Marcus, Iowa. They moved to Vancouver, Washington, in 1960 and had lived in Vancouver, Proebstel, Battle Ground, and Goldendale, Washington, before moving to Hermiston, Oregon, in 1978. Pat worked as a bookkeeper for her husbands many business endeavors.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hermiston, TOPS OR #1110, and the Red Hat Society. Pat loved scrapbooking and was an accomplished artist.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Grauer of Hermiston, Ore.; three daughters, Debbie Mutton of Goldendale, Wash., Suzy Waters of Kennewick, Wash., and Jill Barnes of Hermiston, Ore.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruth Rembe; brother James Rembe; and sister JoAnn Baldwin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hermiston. Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
