Donna K. Doubledee Trudeau was born on January 28, 1954, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to parents Arthur and Frances Dunlap Doubledee. She died on May 1, 2014, at her home in Hermiston, Oregon, at the age of 60 years.
Donna was raised in Texas until the age of 13 when the family moved to Boardman, Oregon, where she attended school. She married Doug Trudeau and they had two daughters: Debonias and Desiree. They later divorced. Donna was a mom first who also trained, raised and kenneled dogs for many years. Donna met Steven Myers and they lived in Hermiston, Oregon, for the last several years. She loved being a mom and grandma. Donna enjoyed gardening, cooking, and animals.
She is survived by her daughters, Debonias Dawn Trudeau, Hermiston, Ore., and Desiree Celeaste Trudeau, Echo, Ore.; brothers Norman Keith Doubledee, Redmond, Ore., and David Arthur Doubledee, New York; sister Jan Leah Shoemake, Boardman, Ore.; companion Steven Lee Myers, Hermiston, Ore.; and three grandchildren, Deshaun, Greg and Hailey.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Godshall.
A celebration of life gathering and potluck for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Jan and Dan Shoemakes home.
