OSU pitcher Ben Wetzler arrested, released Saturday

Oregon State pitcher Ben Wetzler was arrested and subsequently released Saturday.

Wetzler, whose legal name is Benjamin Holmes, was arrested and taken to Benton County Jail Saturday for criminal trespass in the first degree, and criminal mischief in the second degree. He was released the same day.

His total bail was listed at $37,500.

Corvallis Police Department and the Benton County Jail offices are closed Sunday. Check back Monday morning for the police report.
