Medford, Ore. — Accused serial killer Susan Monica will not get a new attorney.

A judge denied that motion and also denied a request from her attorney today that Monica be brought to the state hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Prosecutors say Monica shot her two victims before dismembering their bodies and burying them on her Rogue River property.

She has pleaded not guilty and is due back in court for a pretrial hearing in September.
