Hannah Wicks of Hermiston and Jacob Almaguer of Stanfield are announcing their engagement. Hanna is the daughter of Richard and Gina Wicks of Hermiston. Jacob is the son of Juan Almaguer Jr. and Melba Almaguer of Hermiston.

Hannah is a 2009 graduate of Hermiston High School. She graduated from Blue Mountain Community College in 2014 with a degree in dental assisting. She works for Columbia Dental Clinic in Hermiston.

Jacob graduated from Hermiston High School in 2011, and earned a business degree from BMCC in 2014. He is vice president of operations for the family business, Ja Almaguer Jr. Trucking LLC.

The couple will be married June 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.
