AARP SMART DRIVER CLASS, 11 a.m., Hermiston Municipal Court, Bob Shannon Safety Center, 330 S. First St., Hermiston. Learn valuable defensive driving skills, learn proven safety strategies, refresh the rules of the road and learn how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Targeted for drivers 50 and over, but all licensed drivers are welcome. Bring a sack lunch or make arrangements on your own. Cost is $15 for AARP members (bring ID card), $20 for non-members.
