Sara Stonecypher and Nate Stricklin of Springfield, Ore., are announcing their engagement. Sara is the daughter of Wes and Pam Stonecypher of Umatilla. Nate is the son of Jon and Natalie Stricklin.

Sara is a 2013 graduate of Umatilla High School. She will graduate from Oregon State University in March 2017.

Nate graduated from Piggott (Ark.) High School in 2011 and attended Arkansas State University and College of the Ozarks. He will finish his degree at U of O. He works as a small arms dealer at Cabela’s and as a sales associate at Eugene Running Company. He is also a Marine reservist.

The couple will be married Feb. 20, 2016, at 4 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church in Hermiston.
