An open house 50th anniversary celebration for Gary and Shirley David of Irrigon is planned Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, from 3-5 p.m. at the couple’s home, 275 N.W. Oregon Ave., Irrigon.

Gary David married Shirley Jackson in 1966. Gary retired after 32 years in law enforcement. Shirley worked as a secretary until retirement.

The couple has two children, Monica David of Dallas, Ore., and Rodney David of Lebanon, Ore., two grandchildren, Alysha and Carson, and a great-grandchild, Ryland.
