Wade Scott Kirkpatrick graduates from Marine Recruit Training

Private First Class Wade Scott Kirkpatrick of Hermiston graduated from Marine Recruit Training at the Marine Combat Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif., on Dec. 21, 2017.
PFC Kirkpatrick successfully completed the Physical Fitness Test, which is a standard test used to measure battle-readiness of each Marine with a focus on stamina and physical conditioning. He also completed the Combat Fitness Test, which assesses a Marine’s functional fitness as it relates to the demands of fighting and winning battles.
PFC Kirkpatrick is the son of Dave and Anne Kirkpatrick of Hermiston and Annette Greiner of Milton-Freewater. He will return to San Diego to complete Marine Combat Training and will then be shipped to Pensacola, Fla., where he plans to complete his military occupational specialty as an aviation systems technician.
