Nearly a dozen dates have been scheduled for the 2018 Youth Pheasant Hunts, including at the Irrigon Wildlife Area.

The hunts are open to youths 17 and younger who possess a hunter education certificate. Also, hunters 12 and older must have a valid hunting license with an upland game bird validation. Each youth must be accompanied by a supervising adult who is not allowed to hunt.

The Irrigon hunts are Saturday, Sept. 22 from 8 a.m. to noon or 1-5 p.m. or Sunday, Sept 23 from 8 a.m. to noon. There is no fee.
