Soilo Bustillos Garcia of Umatilla, Oregon, was born on October 6, 1946, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to his parents Sidonio Garcia and Maria Bustillos. He died on October 10, 2018, in Umatilla, Oregon, as the result of an accident at the age of 72 years.

Soilo was raised and lived in Mexico until moving to California in 1979. He moved to the Umatilla-Hermiston, Oregon, area where he has lived since.

Soilo worked as a truck driver for his whole career. He has owned and operated GM trucking, an agricultural trucking company, until the time of his death.

Soilo enjoyed horses, horse racing and raising cattle.

He is survived by his sons Guillermo Garcia, Umatilla, Ore., and Mario (Maria Louisa) Garcia, Nampa, Idaho; brother Eloy Garcia, Mexico; sisters Rosario Garcia, Eliselda Garcia, Virginia Garcia, Soledad Garcia, Manuela Garcia and Leonila Garcia, all of Mexico; grandchildren Evian, Elle, Soilo, Eva and Alexus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Soilo was preceded in death by his wife, Lidia Espino Garcia, and his parents.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Burns Mortuary chapel, Hermiston, Oregon. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon. Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston, Oregon.
