When and why did you move to Hermiston?
I moved to Hermiston with my family in 1975 when my father took a job as editor for the Hermiston Herald.
Where is your favorite place to eat in Hermiston?
Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe (a favorite since I was a kid) and LaLaguna
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Work in the yard, home projects, watch movies
What surprises you about Hermiston?
It surprises me that with all the growth over the years, Hermiston still maintains that small hometown feel and knows how to really come together in times of need.
What was the last book you read?
“999: The Extraordinary Young Women of the First Official Jewish Transport to Auschwitz,” by Heather Dune Macadam

Road trip across the country
What is the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?
That I am raising chickens!
What is one of your goals for the next 12 months?
Reconnect in person with all my extended family and friends that I miss dearly.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Raising my four sons with my husband of 30 years
