Delbert “Gene” Gaines, 73, of Stanfield died Aug. 30, 2021, in Hermiston. He was born March 23, 1948, in Walla Walla, the son of Delbert and Dorothy Jean (Phelps) Gaines. A celebration of life will be held Oct. 2, 2 p.m. at the Life Church 222 S.W. Third St., Pilot Rock. Arrangements are with Burns Mortuary of Hermiston.
