Locals gather to celebrate Juneteenth

- Virginia Garcia, left, of the Hermiston Cultural Awareness Coalition, helps serve food during the Juneteenth Celebration on June 18, 2022, at McKenzie Park, Hermiston. The coalition announced it is expanding its scholarship program to include students from Hermiston, Echo, Stanfield and Umatilla. Applications are due Nov. 30, 2022.
