Police log Sept. 13-19

Tuesday, Sept. 13
8:03 a.m. — Staff at A.C. Houghton Elementary School, 1105 N. Main Ave., Irrigon, called the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to send a deputy to take a yellow Labrador retriever that wandered into the school. A deputy took the dog to Pet Rescue Humane Society of Eastern Oregon, Hermiston.
9:24 a.m. — A 911 caller at Powerline Road and Interstate 82, in Hermiston, reported a car rolled over in a crash and the driver was out and talking. Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
4:11 p.m. — Stanfield police responded to West Wood Avenue on a report of an armed subject.
5:14 p.m. — Emergency services responded to Mojave Court, Boardman, on a report of a 14-year-old female who suffered a broken leg in a vehicle accident. An ambulance took the girl to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
5:25 p.m — A caller on Umatilla River and Bensel roads, Hermiston, reported she parked her car nearby and carpooled with someone else to work. When she returned her car was “keyed everywhere.” Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded.
6:12 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft of money from an Irrigon resident’s bank account.
7:12 p.m. — A resident on Kunze Lane, Boardman, reported the theft of a goat. She said a neighbor on multiple occasions has taken her goat and allows his to roam her land and eat her hay. She said she would wait for a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy.
7:48 p.m. — Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a caller who reported gunshots coming from the area of Blake Ranch on Elk Trail Lane and Blake Ranch Road, Heppner. The caller then reported the neighbors put down two horses.
Wednesday, Sept. 14
9:38 a.m. — A woman came into the Hermiston Police Department wanting to speak with an officer. She reported that about 30 minutes earlier her son came out of their kitchen and cursed her out and told her to leave the home. She said her son kicked her and her younger son out of the home and yelled at them. She told the officer her son has become more aggressive and she was afraid of him in their home. She was not sure if this was due to drug use. She said she would like to know her options.
12:21 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 400 block of Northeast 10th Street on a report of an assault.
1:08 p.m. — Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report of graffiti at Northeast 10th Street and East Elm Avenue, Hermiston.
3:28 p.m. — A male at the Irrigon Shell station, 200 S.E. Highway 730, Irrigon, reported his girlfriend punched him in the back of the head.
6:34 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Highway 395 and Wildwood Lane, Umatilla, on a report of a restraining order violation.
7:08 p.m. — A caller in Heppner reported a person was threatening people through Facebook.
Thursday, Sept. 15
8:40 a.m. — Stanfield police responded to Stanfield Secondary School, 1120 N. Main St., after receiving a report of the theft of a cellphone from the locker room.
9:30 a.m. — Stanfield police responded to the Food Basket, off North Sherman Street, on a report of a burglary.
11:40 a.m. — The Stanfield Police Department received an anonymous tip of possible drug activity at Copper Corner and West Furnish Avenue. Police responded.
2:13 p.m. — The manager of the chipping yard at the Port of Morrow, Boardman, reported the theft of a large amount of copper wire.
3:55 p.m. — A caller reported someone is neglecting sheep in a field off Idaho Lane, Irrigon.
5:04 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Culp Lane, Hermiston, on a report of a domestic disturbance.
6:03 p.m. — A resident on Willow Creek Road, Heppner, reported the theft of a firearm. He said the theft may have happened in Eugene or at his home in Heppner.
6:30 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Netherda Road, Stanfield, on a report of an assault.
Friday, Sept. 16
12:49 a.m. — A 911 caller on Highway 730, in Umatilla, reported fire in the grass and trees. Emergency agencies responded.
2:33 p.m. — A 911 caller at Maple Crest Apartments, 702 Wilson Lane S.W., Boardman, reporting having an issue with someone trying to take her child. Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was not able to make contact with the caller.
5:07 p.m. — A caller reported a burglary on the 600 block of West Orchard Avenue, Hermiston. Police responded.
7:22 p.m. — A caller reported a mail truck’s lights were flashing and alarm was going off at the U.S. Postal Service, 300 N.E. Main Ave., Irrigon. She said she saw someone wearing a black hooded sweatshirt go up to the Postal Service’s window and then leave.
Saturday, Sept. 17
8:58 a.m. — Umatilla police responded to Columbia Boulevard on a report of a vehicle theft.
12:37 p.m. — A resident in Irrigon reported a neighbor’s horse died in the night at the corner of West Seventh Road and Magic Garden Lane. The caller said this is an ongoing problem, and it appears the neighbor does not care for their horses. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and found the horses at the site appear to be healthy.
8:07 p.m. — A caller on Washington Lane, Irrigon, reported a possible disturbance near pumps on the Columbia River. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and warned a male for trespassing and offensive littering.
8:18 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Wildwood RV Park, 82280 Wildwood Lane, on a report of an assault.
Sunday, Sept. 18
5:35 a.m. — A resident at Frontier Trailer Park, 105 Main St. S., Boardman, called 911 and asked law enforcement to send someone because their parents were fighting. Local law enforcement responded.
4:42 p.m. — A 911 caller at Quincy Avenue and Third Street, Umatilla, reported he was the referee in a soccer game at this location and two males were harassing him. Police responded.
5:29 p.m. — Staff at the Shell station, 300 S.E. Highway 730, Irrigon, reported the theft of a lottery ticket and $175 that occurred Aug. 28. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and took a report.
8:14 p.m. — A caller reported their father in Irrigon was very ill, no one was able to contact him and the closest family member was a five-hour drive away. Medics responded and took the man to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
Monday, Sept. 19
7:32 a.m. — Emergency agencies responded to Willow Fork Drive and Main Street South, Boardman, for a vehicle that rolled. An ambulance took patients to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
8:18 a.m. — A 911 caller on Third Street, Umatilla, reported a domestic disturbance. Umatilla Police Department took a report.
9:19 a.m. — A caller at City Auto Sales, 80857 N. Highway 395, Hermiston, reported the theft of a vehicle, and stated the GPS in the vehicle showed its location is in Washington. Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded and took a report.
12:57 p.m. — A caller on Wildwood Lane, Umatilla, requested to speak to an officer regarding filing a stalking order. Umatilla police began an investigation.
1:53 p.m. — A resident on Tyler Road, Boardman, reported her neighbor’s cattle broke down her fence and were on her lot. She said this is an ongoing issue and would keep the cattle there until a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy showed up.
7:10 p.m. — The owner at Umatilla Self Storage, 2451 Highway 730, Umatilla, called 911 and reported there were people trying to drill a lock out and he has it on surveillance video. Police responded.
7:29 p.m. — Heppner firefighters reported rescuing five kittens at Morrow Street and Northeast Thompson Avenue, Heppner, from a place they were going to burn down. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy took the kittens to Fuzz Ball Animal Rescue, Hermiston.

Sept. 12
Boardman police arrested Amilca Castro Lopez, 23, for fourth-degree assault, harassment, two counts of second-degree criminal trespass and two counts of menacing.
Oregon State Police arrested Jesus Cardenas, 33, for possession of a federally controlled substance.
Sept. 14
Hermiston police arrested Oscar Lee Cota Jr., 19, for assault.
Boardman police arrested Sergio Regina Avelino, 32, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol).
Sept. 15
Oregon State Police arrested Edwin R. Everett, 66, for DUII (alcohol).
Oregon State Police arrested Maddox James McConville-Joseph, 18, for DUII (controlled substance).
Hermiston police arrested Mark David Borghese, 57, for hit-and-run that caused injury, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, failure to appear and contempt of court.
Sept. 16
Stanfield police arrested Adey Mudesin Adan, 19, for two counts of unauthorized entry motor vehicle, four counts of attempt to commit a crime, three counts unauthorized entry into a vehicle, three counts of third-degree theft and one count each of giving false information to law enforcement and second-degree criminal trespass.
Hermiston police arrested Anthony Tavarez Cruz, 20, for punitive contempt of court, violating a restraining order, second-degree criminal trespass and endangering a person protected by a restraining order.
Hermiston police arrested Erica June Kidwell, 29, for first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal trespass, unauthorized entry into a vehicle, second-degree theft and two counts of third-degree theft.
Umatilla police arrested Dasay Lamonte Hollinquest, 50, for felon in possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, attempted unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and violating parole.
Sept. 17
Hermiston police arrested Allen Ray Goatley, 43, for strangulation and menacing.
Hermiston police arrested Jose Valera, 32, for reckless driving, reckless endangering bail, resisting arrest, driving while suspended/revoked and interfering with a peace officer.
Sept. 18
Boardman police arrested Antelmo De Los Santos De Los Santos, 29, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.
Boardman police arrested Santiago Enrique Dominguez Barrios, 39, for interfering with making a report and fourth-degree aggravated assault.
Sept. 19
Local law enforcement and Boardman fire at about 5 p.m. received a call from Mountain View Drive, Boardman, about a 21-year-old man assaulting a woman. Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Terry Isaac Jamal, 21, on misdemeanors of harassment and menacing related to domestic violence.
Boardman police arrested Santiago Enrique Dominguez Barrios, 39, for fourth-degree aggravated assault and two counts of interfering with making a report.
