Tuesday, Oct. 11
7:24 a.m. — An Irrigon resident called 911 to report a 2½-year-old boy was having a seizure.
10:57 a.m. — A caller to the Hermiston Police Department reported he would like to speak to an officer regarding a van he loaned to someone three months ago to move their belongings and he has not seen or heard from the person since. He had to go to the Oregon Driver and Motor Vehicles division to get new plates but still does not have the vehicle and wants to know what his options are.
11:33 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to Southeast Ninth Street on a report of a burglary.
11:38 a.m. — A caller reported a student at Irrigon Jr./Sr. High School, had a seizure. The student declined to take an ambulance to the hospital.
4:07 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Swaggart Brothers, Stanfield, on a report of a domestic disturbance.
4:43 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a 44-year-old man crashed on a scooter on Shoemake Road, Boardman, and injured his head and arm. An ambulance took the man to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
4:49 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to East Cherry Avenue on a report of a restraining order violation.
6:05 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Northwest Greer Road, Hermiston, on a report of a burglary.
8:27 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a semitrailer’s wheels were on fire on the westbound side of Interstate 84 at Boardman.
11:41 p.m. — A caller reported a domestic disturbance on Pheasant Court, Boardman, between a mother and daughter. Local law enforcement responded.
Wednesday, Oct. 12
5:53 a.m. — A 911 caller reported the theft of a vehicle on North First Street, Hermiston. Police responded.
10:37 a.m. — A caller to the Hermiston Police Department stated that he and three of his friends want to “play with their Nerf guns that look realistic in a city park in Hermiston.” The caller wanted to know if this would cause any problems. The Hermiston Police Department advised.
10:49 a.m. — A man came into the Hermiston Police Department lobby to report that yesterday morning around 10:45 a.m. he was driving at Northwest 11th and West Elm avenues and believes he tapped a pedestrian who was on an electric scooter with his car while driving.
1:25 p.m. — Umatilla police took a report for graffiti on Sixth Street.
Thursday, Oct. 13
9:10 a.m. — Umatilla police took a report for graffiti at Eighth Street.
11 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to South First Street on a report of a parent upset about the school dress code and causing a scene.
Friday, Oct. 14
8:36 a.m. — A caller at Wilson Road Mobile Home Park, Boardman, reported their parents were fighting. Boardman police Chief Rick Stokoe responded and provided options.
10:14 a.m. — Umatilla police responded to Umatilla High School on a report of a fight.
10:37 a.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Northeast Moe Lane, Hermiston, on a report of a domestic disturbance.
1:54 p.m. — A caller reported his girlfriend in Irrigon kicked him out of his trailer and will not let him get his belongings.
7:31 p.m. — Boardman police received a complaint about a male yelling at neighbors on Ridge Crest Lane.
8:52 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Columbia Crest Apartments off Third Street on a report of a domestic disturbance.
9:28 p.m. — A 911 caller on Sagebrush Road, Hermiston, reported hearing shots fired. Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded.
10:47 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to Dark Canyon Avenue on a report of a domestic disturbance.
11:58 p.m. — A caller in Boardman asked to speak to a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy about his sister stealing money from him.
Saturday, Oct. 15
11:38 a.m. — A resident on Country Garden Road, Irrigon, reported a German shepherd in her yard belongs to another resident. A Morrow County sheriff’ deputy responded, took the dog to a pet rescue and called the owner to issue a warning for keeping a dog as a public nuisance.
1:33 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to East Airport Road, Hermiston, on a report of a domestic disturbance.
1:48 p.m. — A caller on East Airport Road, Hermiston, reported the theft of their washer and dryer. Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report.
5:24 p.m. — Hermiston police received a call about a vehicle theft on West Highland Avenue. Police took a report.
9:47 p.m. — A resident on Southeast Eighth Court, Irrigon, reported the theft of a motorcycle.
9:54 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Rustic Truck Bar and Grill, Irrigon, to make a male subject leave for the night but not to trespass him. A deputy contacted the man and notified he was trespassed for a year.
11 p.m. — A caller reported six or seven cows were on the road at Washington Lane and Steagall Road, Irrigon.
Sunday, Oct. 16
12:10 a.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Chinook Avenue, Umatilla, on a report of a verbal domestic disturbance between a man and woman.
2:41 a.m. — A caller on Columbia Lane, Irrigon, made a complaint about loud music coming from a residence at Columbia Lane and Seventh Street.
3:35 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on West Catherine Avenue.
3:16 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a former employee harassing workers at the Mobile station and Circle K in Heppner. Deputies responded and arrested a man on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant and took a report.
5:26 p.m. — An Irrigon resident requested an ambulance to a 30-year-old woman who suffered an allergic reaction to a spider bite. An ambulance took the patient to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.
7:05 p.m. — A caller on Baggett Lane, Hermiston, reported an explosion. Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded.
8:25 p.m.— Hermiston police received a report about graffiti at McKenzie Park on West Orchard Avenue and South First Street. Police took a report.
11:02 p.m. — A resident on Upper Rhea Creek Road, Heppner, reported her boyfriend threatened and hit her. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and took a report.
Monday, Oct. 17
5:55 a.m. — A caller reported a horse was near the road at Pole Line Road and Homestead Lane, Boardman.
7:34 a.m. — A caller on Northeast 10th Street, Hermiston, reported a vehicle theft.
8:47 a.m. — A Hermiston resident told police she is the victim of domestic violence from her husband and has been scared to make a report because he has threatened to hurt her family.
11:56 a.m. — A male told Hermiston police another man assaulted him on the 300 block of Northwest Third Street.
3:32 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a student stealing $80 from an aide’s purse at Riverside High School, Boardman. The sheriff’s office is investigating.
5:49 p.m. — A man reported he is living in a trailer on Pole Line Road behind Nash Contracting, Boardman, and $1,300 was missing from the trailer. He also said he allowed another person to live with him for a little while. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
8:17 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a vehicle theft on West Lathrop Avenue. Police took a report.
Arrests, citations
Oct. 11
Hermiston police arrested Stephen Scott Rodriguez, 42, for resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, theft of lost/mislaid property and third-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kendra Barnes, 29, for felony fleeing and reckless driving.
Oct. 12
Hermiston police arrested Marko Douglas McCarroll, 50, for possession of a stolen vehicle, driving with a suspended/revoked license, driving while uninsured and illegal display/switching license plates.
Oct. 13
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Deborah Ann White, 58, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Oct. 14
Hermiston police arrested Alex Michael Shaver, 27, for felony possession of methamphetamine, altering the identification number of a firearm and possession of a federally controlled substance.
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Samuel Medelez Posada, 54, for felon in possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, harassment and driving while suspended/revoked.
Oct. 15
Umatilla police arrested Katrina Anne Quinones, 37, for interfering with making a report, resisting arrest, assault of a public safety officer and aggravated harassment.
Umatilla police arrested Daniela Lopez, 33, for misdemeanor fourth-degree assault.
Oct. 16
The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gustavo Lopez, 30, for interfering with making a report, and three counts of harassment.
Umatilla police arrested Rafael Ortiz, 37, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, fleeing, reckless driving and reckless endangering.
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office at 1:21 a.m. received a report of a physical altercation involving five to eight people at the Shell station in Irrigon. The sheriff’s office arrested Elfrid Joab Herrarte, 18, for unlawful use of a firearm and domestic violence menacing.
Oct. 17
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested James Darryl Furia, 60, for DUII (alcohol).
