Merlyn L. “Digger” Ostrander, 82, of Hermiston, died Oct. 6, 2022, at his home in Hermiston. He was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Oregon City. A celebration of life service will be Nov. 12, 1 p.m. at Harkenrider Senior Center, 255 N.E. Second St., Hermiston. A graveside service with military honors will be Nov. 14, 2:45 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland. Arrangements are with Burns Mortuary of Hermiston.
