Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Jennifer Brubaker. I’m a medical records analyst at Good Shepherd Medical Center and a pastor’s wife. My husband is a pastor at Calvary Harvest Fellowship.

Where did you grow up? When did you come to Hermiston?

I was born and raised in Coos Bay. We came to Hermiston in December 2004.

What are a few of your hobbies?

I love quilting. I like to exercise and I like to walk. And I’m kind of learning to ride a horse.

How do you spend your free time?

There’s not a lot of free time, working in the backyard or on the house. My husband and I like to shop together. When we need to go to the store, we go together. We go to the coast to visit our kids. We have a son in Pennsylvania, too.

How would you describe yourself?

Oh boy, that’s a hard one. I’m not really outgoing, but I think I’m easy to talk to. I’m friendly and kind, but also I stand my ground. I’m very cut and dry on certain things, especially when it comes to knowing Jesus.

What is something you’re passionate about?

The Lord. Jesus is my lord and savior, and I believe in order to get to heaven you need to know him.

What are a few of your proudest accomplishments?

My children. I have three children, all boys, and I have five grandchildren.

What do you like most about the community you live in?

The four seasons, I love the snow. And the people are pretty much friendly.
