Tuesday, Nov. 29

8:12 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 900 block of North First Street on a report of a burglary.

10:13 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 800 block of West Tamarack Avenue on a report of a burglary.

10:19 a.m. — A caller at Rosalynn Drive and Mamie Street in Stanfield, reported a black Ford Bronco kept running over traffic cones in the new construction area. Police responded.

10:32 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 1100 block of South First Street on a report of a burglary.

11:21 a.m. — A caller on West Main Street, Ione, reported someone with a pellet gun shot the abandoned building near the post office. The caller said they might be able to identify the person responsible and asked for police contact.

11:57 a.m. — Umatilla police responded to Crossroads Truck Stop on a report of a stolen credit card being used there.

1:05 p.m. — Umatilla police took a report for graffiti on Jefferson Street.

2:26 p.m. — A caller on Highway 207, in Lexington, reported a pallet jack and a heavy equipment cylinder were in the road. The caller was able to remove the items from the road and said they may have fallen from a truck belonging to Bailey Heavy Equipment Inc.

4:29 p.m. — A 911 caller on Umatilla Avenue, Umatilla, reported a man just tried to kick in her front door. Police responded.

5:08 p.m. — Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded to Irrigon Fire Hall, Irrigon, on a report of a car crashing into a fire hydrant. Police took a report.

5:12 p.m. — Emergency services responded to Lamb Weston West Plant, Boardman, on a report of a 50-year-old man who lacerated two fingers, possibly down to the bone. An ambulance took the patient to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.

7:04 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to Northwest Oregon Avenue, Irrigon, on a report of a teen male who was unconscious but breathing. An ambulance took the teen to a hospital.

7:44 p.m. — A woman came into Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, Heppner, to report her daughter’s ex-boyfriend has been threatening her and making suicidal threats. She stated she resides in Gilliam County but the sheriff’s office there advised she call MCSO because the ex-boyfriend resides in Morrow County.

11:58 p.m. — A 911 caller on Northeast 10th Street, Hermiston, reported someone was inside his shed. Police responded.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

8 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to South Highway 395 on a report of a burglary.

12:27 p.m. — A caller on East Pine Avenue, Hermiston, reported the theft of a set of golf clubs from his vehicle in early October, and two nights ago a music box was stolen out of the same vehicle. The caller stated he parks his vehicle in his driveway and would like an officer to contact him.

12:38 p.m. — Morrow County sheriff’s deputies conducted a welfare check on Crooked Road, Irrigon, after receiving reports of someone suffering a mental or emotional crisis.

8:15 p.m. — Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded to the Port of Morrow after a security alarm was triggered. Port security stated they have video of an individual walking through the site and using a phone as a flashlight.

10:58 p.m. — A 911 caller on the 100 block of East Main Street, Hermiston, reported his girlfriend was assaulted and was being threatened. Police responded.

Thursday, Dec. 1

1:21 a.m. — A 911 caller on Northwest Baltimore Street, Heppner, reported an 84-year-old female who is on blood thinners has a bloody nose

9:16 a.m. — A caller on Kunze Lane, Boardman, reported a female wearing red pants and a red jacket was causing a disturbance in front of his residence. Emergency services responded and transported her to Community Counseling Solutions.

9:56 a.m. — A 911 caller on Parkside Road, Boardman, reported all the mail boxes have been broken into on Kunze Lane and Parkside Road. Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

10:58 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to West West Street, Lexington, on a report of a 70-year-old man possibly having a stroke. The patient refused transportation to a hospital.

3:53 p.m. — Stanfield police responded to Echo High School on East Gerone Street, Echo, on a report of harassment.

6:33 p.m. — A 911 caller at the Irrigon Shell Station off Highway 730 reported a red SUV with Washington plates was harassing them while driving. The caller stated the driver of the SUV was slamming on their brakes in front of them and then followed them to the gas station. The caller stated the SUV was parked on the other side of some semitrailers at The Rustic Truck Bar and Grill, Irrigon, and the caller was parked at the Shell Station waiting for contact from an officer. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded.

6:46 p.m. — Irrigon ambulance transported a 58-year-old female to the hospital after she complained of pain and medical issues at the Irrigon Shell Station on Highway 730.

8:14 p.m. — A 911 caller on Depot Lane and West Eighth Road, Irrigon, reported that someone ran over a cat and requested assistance in getting in contact with the owner. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded.

8:28 p.m. — A caller on Southeast Fourth Street, Irrigon, reported their neighbors have been playing loud music for four nights in a row, and requested an officer make contact with them. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies checked the area and found no music coming from residences in the area.

8:30 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Athena-Weston Middle School on East Wallace Street, Weston, on a report of harassment.

Friday, Dec. 2

11:10 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 800 block of East Pine Avenue.

12:02 p.m. — A caller reported a burglary at North Ott and West Walls roads, Hermiston. Local law enforcement took a report.

4:37 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about someone driving a ’90s model Ford F150 pickup through a yard at Fredrickson Farms, Irrigon. Deputies responded and arrested a man on a misdemeanor of driving while suspended.

10:47 p.m. — A caller reported finding an injured duck at Anderson Road and Zuzu Street, Boardman. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office provided the phone number for Blue Mountain Wildlife, Pendleton.

Saturday, Dec. 3

3:15 a.m. — A caller at Riverview Mobile Home Park, Irrigon, reported her boyfriend would not let her leave. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded and found she was able to leave and did not want contact with deputies at the time.

2:52 p.m. — An ambulance responded to Heppner High School, Heppner, for a student who suffered a neck injury. The ambulance transported the student.

10:37 p.m. — A caller on Southeast Park Place, Irrigon, reported a neighbor on the 200 block was operating loud machinery. The caller asked law enforcement to contact them and ask them to operate the machinery during the day.

Sunday, Dec. 4

8:15 a.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Linn County Sheriff’s Office about the arrest of Eugene Conrad Machado, 33, of Hermiston, on a Morrow County warrant for failure to appear in a fleeing and intoxicated driving case.

8:27 a.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and Boardman Fire Rescue District responded to a report of a pickup that crashed with a trailer on the westbound side of Interstate 84 near Boardman. Oregon State Police took the lead on the situation.

10:09 a.m. — A caller reported the theft of a vehicle from a storage unit at Stor-4-U Mini Storage, Heppner.

2:23 p.m. — The Irrigon Rural Fire Protection District responded to Highway 730, Irrigon, for a van that slid off the road and crashed head-on into a tree. A patient declined a ride to a hospital. This was one of numerous vehicle crashes emergency services in Morrow County responded to that day, including semitrailers that jackknifed or slid off roads.

3:16 p.m. — A 911 caller reported a vehicle was upside down on Umatilla River Road, Umatilla, with people still inside.

Monday, Dec. 5

5:49 a.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and other emergency services responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed and rolled on Highway 730, Boardman. Law enforcement, fire department and ambulance services would respond to numerous calls throughout the day in Morrow County for crashes, slide-offs and such due to drivers on slick roads.

11:06 a.m. — A caller on West Main Street, Echo, reported criminal mischief and theft were taking place in the trailer park laundry room. Stanfield police took a report.

4:22 p.m. — A caller told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office he met with a contractor the day before at Irrigon City Hall, and the meeting escalated to the man yelling at him. The caller said he tried to obtain surveillance video from city hall, but staff there told him to contact the sheriff’s office.

10:54 p.m. — Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies responded to Diagonal Road, Hermiston on a report of a car crash.

Arrests, citations

Nov. 30

Hermiston police arrested Stephen Scott Rodriguez, 42, for second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and second- and third-degree theft.

Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Angelica Domingo, 41, for fourth-degree assault.

Hermiston police arrested Kevin Mendoza, 22, for menacing and unlawful possession of a firearm.
