Hermiston Education Foundation offers scholarships

Hermiston High School seniors participate in graduation ceremonies on June 9, 2022, at the Toyota Center in Kennewick. The Hermiston Education Foundation will award $2,500 scholarships to eight HHS class of 2023 seniors. The application deadline is March 23.

Graduating Hermiston High School seniors who plan to further their education after turning the tassel are invited to apply for Hermiston Education Foundation scholarships.

To be eligible, students must attend an accredited college or university in any field of study. A total of eight scholarships will be awarded, each for $2,500.

According to a press release from George Clough, HEF Scholarship Committee member, important factors in evaluating applicants include academic achievements, extracurricular activities, community service, leadership and financial need.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 23. A short interview may be required. Applicants will be notified no later than Friday, April 21.
