Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Hannah Payne, and I am a Realtor with Windermere Group One in Hermiston. I am licensed in the state of Oregon.

Where did you grow up? When did you come to Hermiston?

I was born in Hermiston, raised in Boardman and graduated Class of 2021 from Riverside High School. My boyfriend and I purchased our first home in October 2022 in Hermiston, and plan to be in the area for a while.

What are a few of your hobbies?

I love to do anything outdoors. You can usually find me hiking in the Gorge, running, paddle boarding the Columbia river, playing disc golf and attending local Farmers Markets. I enjoy gardening, longboarding and hosting parties. I love to travel when I can, and when I do, you can find me somewhere on the coast.

How do you spend your free time?

I try to spend as much time as possible exploring different hobbies or things to do. Otherwise, I like to cook, go thrifting, visit the local humane society, try new restaurants or go for a run.

How would you describe yourself?

Energetic, outgoing, caring, ambitious and insightful. I’m a glass-half-full kinda gal.

What is something that you’re passionate about?

As a foster youth, my main passion is informing other foster youth of opportunities and resources available to them, as there are many. Otherwise, putting in extra effort for my clients buying or selling a home, and taking care of the people in our community.

What are a few of your proudest accomplishments?

My proudest accomplishments include starting my career as a Realtor, which started out as me working as an assistant for a Realtor in our office. I would also have to include purchasing my first home, after being removed from my apartment in March of 2022, after Hermiston Highland Manor Apartments was under new ownership, displacing myself and the remaining 45 units.

What do you like most about the community you live in?

How fast-paced our community is growing. Being in Eastern Oregon my whole life, I have the pleasure of watching this area grow, and to showcase my hometown and surrounding areas to out of town/out of state buyers with excitement. When clients tell me our area is a “hidden gem” I couldn’t be more proud to be a native East Oregonian.
