Who are you and what do you do?

I am Lindsey Perkins, I’m a student and I’m on the woman’s wrestling team for Hermiston High School. Actually, right now I’m helping with a conference for HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club at school for the CTE (Career Technical Education) showcase, I’m teaching people how to do CPR.

Where did you grow up? When did you come to Hermiston?

I was born here in Hermiston. I’ve pretty much lived in Hermiston my whole life.

What are few of your hobbies?

I’m on the womans wrestling team and I really enjoy doing that. I don’t know, I hang out with my friends a lot of the time. I don’t really have any specific hobbies.

How do you spend your free time?

A lot of it is spent with my family at home.

How would you describe yourself?

I think I’m kind, maybe sometimes an over achiever.

What is something that you’re passionate about?

I’m really passionate about… I want to go into the health care field, I feel like I would be able to help people heal.

What are a few of your proudest accomplishments?

Honestly with wrestling, it was just making weight. I had to cut a lot to make weight, and to compete in the first place. And in my very first competition I got third place.

What do you like most about the community you live in?

I like how everyone for the most part is really involved with everything like with the high school, we all help each other, and everyone is just kind of there to support each other. I really like my school.
