With a theme of “A Starry Night,” the distinguished citizen awards banquet is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Rae’s Dayz Diner & Cakery, 1226 Sixth St., Umatilla. In addition to the chamber honors, the Umatilla Police Officers Association and Umatilla School District will present awards.

Lite ‘em Up BBQ will cater a tri-tip dinner with cinnamon rolls from the Two Rivers Correctional Institution bakery.

Seating is limited to 80 people. Anyone planning to attend should purchase tickets in advance at $25 each.
