Qualifying for the 2023 Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama takes the track ahead of the race this week. This race has been around since 1992 under different names. The track is the longest oval on the NASCAR schedule, and this week’s race will feature 113 laps and just over 300 total miles that will test the drivers’ endurance, patience, skill and their overall teams to get out with a win this week. In last season’s spring race on this track for the Xfinity Series, Noah Gragson won after Austin Hill led the most laps in a terrific race. This year looks to top that experience with every driver aiming for a huge win this season.

Last year on this track and race Jeffrey Earnhardt qualified ahead of the rest of the field and took the pole entering the race.

So far this season John Hunter Nemechek is the leader in points with 319, which is 21 more than the rest of the field. He is coming off his second win of the season after a second-place finish the race before.

In eight races, Nemechek has two wins and five top-eight finishes as he continues to build momentum as he looks for his first Xfinity Series championship.
