Heppner Chamber of Commerce appoints new direct of member services, events

HEPPNER — The Heppner Chamber of Commerce has appointed Madison Rosenbalm as the new director of member services and events.

The Heppner native will start in her new position at the Heppner Chamber on July 1.
“I was raised in a family of several small business owners, and realize the importance of these businesses in our community,” Rosebalm said in a press release from the chamber. “I want to help them continue to thrive and grow for many years to come. The Heppner community is a very special place to live and work.”
According to the release, Rosenbalm has a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and a master’s of arts in teaching from Eastern Oregon University. For the past eight years, she has been teaching at Heppner Elementary School.

“Madison is a homegrown hire that will continue to bring energy, innovation and community building that is exactly what a Chamber of Commerce should provide,” chamber board President Andy Fletcher said in the release. “The Heppner Chamber is looking forward to expanding our member support, offerings and community building — Madison is the perfect person to accomplish these goals.”
