Women’s Club awards scholarships

MORROW COUNTY — The Community Woman’s Club of Irrigon & Boardman recently announced its 2023 scholarship recipients.

Irrigon High School: Klarisza Gomez ($1,500) will attend Oregon State/Linn Benton Community College to pursue a career as a veterinarian; Caren Cardenas ($750) plans to study civil engineering at Oregon State University; and Joanna Carrillo-Ocho ($750) will major in family and human services at the University of Oregon.

Riverside High School: Stephanie Booher ($1,500) will major in chemistry at Brigham Young University; Leslie Lopez ($750) plans to enter a nursing program; and Alexis Partlow ($750) will major in psychology at Western Oregon University.
