Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Jairo Ibarra and I’m an assistant manager at Ranch & Home.

Where did you grow up? When did you come to Hermiston?

I was born and raised here in Hermiston.

What are a few of your hobbies?

I love to go fishing, roping and working on my truck.

How would you describe yourself?

I’d like to say I’m caring, generous and hilarious.

What is something that you’re passionate about?

I’m very passionate about my friends and family because they make me a better person all around.

What is something you think your community could use?

I believe we can use a shooting range somewhere in town or close by.

What do you like most about the community you live in?

I love how we’re a small town that has rapidly grown in the last few years, but regardless of its size it’s always been very welcoming and the community is always quick to come together in a time of need. There’s a lot of support for local businesses that keep the community thriving and growing.
