Josh Burns

HEPPNER — Josh Burns of Hermiston recently joined the Bank of Eastern Oregon board of directors.

An Arkansas native, Burns graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He also received a master’s degree in leadership and ethics from John Brown University. He moved to Hermiston in 2011.

Burns worked as the general manager of the Walmart Distribution Center in Hermiston for seven years. In 2020, he joined Swanson Insurance Group as general manager and producer. His volunteer activities include the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce, the Hermiston Rotary Club, the Hermiston Planning Commission and the Hermiston Airport Advisory Board.
