Oregon Charter Academy announces local graduates

SALEM — Several Umatilla County students were recognized during the 2023 Oregon Charter Academy graduation ceremony.

The June 10 event was held at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem.

Nearly 260 graduates from across the state, including Colby Walchli of Umatilla and Elliot Glenn of Echo, graduated from the virtual public charter school. In addition, Glenn received cumulative honor roll recognition.

Oregon Charter Academy was established 18 years ago as Oregon Connections Academy. The tuition-free school serves kindergarten through 12th grade. For more information, visit www.oregoncharter.org.
