Vikings’ Jordan Addison Cited for Driving 140 MPH

Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison was cited for speeding and reckless driving early Thursday morning in St. Paul, Minn.

Addison, 21, is accused of traveling 140 mph in a 55-mph zone while driving a Lamborghini Urus sport utility vehicle, according to a statement by the Minnesota State Patrol. The incident occurred on eastbound Interstate 94 near Dale Street in St. Paul, according to the MSP.

Addison, whose place of residence is listed as Frederick, Md., played college football at Pittsburgh and Southern California. He won the 2021 Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver at Pitt before transferring to USC for his junior season.

He was selected with the No. 23 pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft by Minnesota.

Addison burst onto the national scene at Pitt, where he recorded 160 receptions for 2,259 yards and 21 touchdown catches in two seasons. After a 100-catch season with the Panthers in ’21, his production dipped to 59 receptions for 875 yards with eight touchdowns for the Trojans last season.
