HERMISTON — A school supply drive is being held for local elementary students at the Hermiston branch of the Bank of Eastern Oregon.

People are invited to make donations through Aug. 15. Items can be dropped off during regular business hours at 1475 N. First St., Hermiston. The supplies will be distributed to local schools later this month.

Also, the branch will hold a drawing for several backpacks filled with supplies. Community members with students in elementary school are invited to stop by and fill out a ticket for a chance to win. Participants are not required to be Bank of Eastern Oregon customers.
